Camping
North Overlook Recreation Area
North
Overlook Recreation Area, known for its densely wooded campsites, is
located on the north side of Red Rock Dam and is easily accessible from
County Highway T-15. This camping area features a playground, amphitheater,
shower facilities, beach and access to the paved Volksweg Trail. North
Overlook includes 54 campsites; eight of these sites are designated
for tent camping only.
Individual reservations can be made for sites 1-18 and 22-34. To make a reservation, please call the National Recreation Reservation Service toll free at (877) 444-NRRS or (877) 444-6777. Reservations can also be made on-line at www.Recreation.gov. There is no additional reservation fee.
