Existing Economic Conditions Report - May 2004 (8.44 MB)

  Description This report, prepared by the Tennessee Valley Authority, documents the existing economic conditions within the study area to provide a context for evaluating the regional economic impacts of alternatives being considered as part of the Upper Mississippi River Comprehensive Plan.  The report describes the current demographics, economy, and transportation infrastructure of the study area.
     
An Economic Evaluation of Proposed Flood Protection Plans on the Upper Mississippi River and Illinois Waterway - October 2004 (0.7 MB)
  Description This report, prepared by the Tennessee Valley Authority, estimates the regional economic impacts of three structural alternatives for flood damage reduction on the Upper Mississippi River and Illinois Waterway.
