Camping
Ivans Recreation Area
Ivans Campground will be reopening
sometime during Spring 2012.
Ivans is the smallest, but
one of the most scenic campgrounds available at Lake Red Rock. This
area offers 21 campsites in a heavily wooded area on the south shore
of the Des Moines River. Shower facilities and access to the Volksweg
paved trail are
provided here.
Due to its small size, it is the only campground that does not have any sites available through the National Recreation Reservation Service. Sites are only available on a first come, first serve basis. The park's custodian will come to your campsite to collect the camping fee.
