Howell Station Campground: Reservations Now Available

 

The Corps of Engineers at Lake Red Rock is once again accepting reservations at the Howell Station Campground. The park still contains a select amount of first-come, first-serve sites as in past years. For reservations, contact the National Recreation Reservation Service at 1-877-444-6777 or on-line at www.recreation.gov .  A printable campground map is available by clicking the red "Campground Map" tab below. 

Howell Station Recreation Area is located below the Red Rock Dam on the north side of the Des Moines River. Howell Station is the largest recreation area at the lake managed by the Corps, providing 143 campsites. This area has access to the Volksweg and other hiking trails, boat ramp, fish cleaning station, playgrounds and shower facilities.
